Can your really put a price on how much a blog is worth. This is something that I asked myself when I started looking at the top blogs on the internet. In trying to decide how much a blog could possibly be worth there are a lot of factors that one would have to consider. Such as how much the site generates from ad networks and referrals. Second, how much could the blog earn from selling links on a monthly basis through sites like text-link-ads.com and linkworth. You would also have to figure in the number of subscribers, pagerank, search engine ranking, and the amount of traffic the blog receives. Now this is not something that would be easy to sit down and figure out. I came across a site that has already developed by Dane Carlson and he has developed an applet using Technorati’s API to calculate how much a blog would be worth with just the click of a button.
